Bambarakale School Project – 2024
The Oslo Girls for the very first time came together with a lot of enthusiasm to donate essential school items to a well deserving school in Nuwara Eliya. Bambarakelle Tamil School was discovered by the Oslo Girls themselves. Bambarakelle Tamil School gives primary education to about 40 children in the village with a very small team of staff. Bambarakelle is situated in a rural area in Nuwara Eliya where they struggle with many challenges the life can through at human lives. It is a very small school that has gone unnoticed by many eyes.
The Oslo Girls worked tirelessly and within a very short period completed their very first project in Sri Lanka. Bambarakelle Tamil School was blessed with a Toshiba brand-new photocopier/Printer Scanner by this project which was an essential need of the children of this school. Without stopping there, Oslo Girls did a deep dive into the needs of the children and further donated School Socks, School Bags, Stationeries, School Jerseys, Rain Coats and Vouchers for School Shoes for all 40 children of that small school in Nuwara Eliya. This project was completed with LKR. 620,000/- but has given more than a million-dollar satisfaction.
